Porcelain Veneers are very strong and durable, however, they are not permanent. With proper care (that is simply only brushing and flossing) Porcelain Veneers can last from 10-15 years.

What is the Process?

At Marlborough Dental Centre, we do everything to ensure your treatment is as thorough and comfortable as possible. Once you and your dental professional decide to go ahead with the Porcelain Veneer procedure, you can expect:

Step 1: A Comprehensive Dental Exam. Before we start any procedure, we will thoroughly examine your overall dental health and wellness. This may include x-rays, tooth evaluation, bite analysis, oral cancer screening and more.

Step 2: In order that your veneers are custom fitted to you, we will take an impression of your teeth. This impression is used to create your veneers, which may take up to 1-2 weeks to complete.

Step 3: Once back in our office, our dental team will attach the veneers to your teeth, ensuring they are positioned and shaped properly.

Step 4: Using a safe adhesive, the veneers will be permanently affixed to your teeth. Using a blue-light device, we will ensure your veneers are cured, bonded and sealed properly.

Step 5: We will shape your new teeth and give them a final polish and ensure they are fitted properly, your bite is correct and you have a beautiful, bright, straight smile.

How Much Do They Cost?

The cost of Porcelain Veneers depends on a number of factors, all of which our dental professionals will walk you through. Our office does provide Direct Billing in order to eliminate the hassle associated with filing insurance claims, making the process as easy as possible for you.
